Geoff Taylor Wildlife Art

Geoff Taylor was born in 1946 in Lancaster, England and was educated at Eckington Westfield School in Sheffield, followed by a 3 year graphic design course at Chesterfield College of Art, after which Geoff Taylor worked for 5 years in Nottingham for advertising agencies. Geoff Taylor is well known throughout the world as an illustrator and book cover artist. His fantasy book covers are among the best available and he has produced the artwork for many famous science fiction writers including JRR Tolkien, Raymond E Feist , Roger Zelazny, David Zindell and David Gemmell to name a few. Geoff Taylor has also produced a superb number of illustrations for Games Workshp including Warhammer World. His other true passion is superb artwork of wildlife with his wolf paintings standing out as among the best available. Two superb wolf paintings produced for Solomon and Whitehead are Freeze Frame andWinter Pause which are now sold out at the publishers, but Cranston Fine Arts have managed to get hold of a limited number of these great wolf paintings. Geoff Taylor now resides in Cumbria.
