Officers Mess, Tournay Barracks, Aldershot by R Standish Sweeney. Brick barracks which replaced old wooden huts of the 1850s, in accordance with the Barracks Act of 1890. Tournay Barracks, named after the battle of May 1794, was built to accommodate a battalion of infantry, and was demolished in 1971. |
