Lords by Alan Fearnley. Lords Cricket Ground, owned by the Marylebone Cricket Club (MCC) and is the home of Middlesex County Cricket Club. Lords is widely known as the home of cricket. The scene depicts an England international cricket test viewed from G Stand, which was in 1991 was replaced with a new stand, the Compton stand, named after the former Middlesex and England batsman Dennis Compton. The print was signed in 1980 by Denis Compton. |
