The Legend - Barry Sheene 1959 - 2003 by Robert Tomlin. Barry Sheene, at the pinnacle of his success, takes a lap of honour after breaking all records when winning the 1977 500cc World Championship race at Spa Francorchamps in Belgium. On a circuit now considered too dangerous for Superbikes, his remarkable lap record remains unbroken. |
