Clipped Signature - James Ford. In 1940 he was a 2nd Lieutenant in the Royal Scots regiment, and was promoted in the field to Acting Captain. Posted to Hong Kong, he won the Military Cross during the failed defence of the colony, spending the rest of the war as a prisoner. He died in 2009. Please note that this particular signature has been written in pen - not in pencil like most of our signatures. |
