Quiots brigade made up of the 54th and 55th Infantry of the line of the 1st Division after capturing the surrounding Orchard, failed in their attempt to take the farm.

Von Yorck would go on to be known as von Wartenburg as a battle honour after his corps won the action at Warternburg; playing a major role in the Prussian victories in Germany against Napoleons forces.

In Front of the Town Hall of Reichenbach By Richard Knotel (P) The Truce of Plaswitz was a nine-week armistice during the Napoleonic Wars. During the armistice, the signing of the Treaties of Reichenbach was held the on 27th of June, 1813 at Reichenbach town hall. These treaties stood to establish a closer coalition between Great Britain Prussia, Russia and Austria and a strong military alliance against Napoleon.
