The Battle of Jena took place on October 14, 1806, Napoleon decisively defeated the Prussian army led by Prince Hohenlohe. The French army's effective use of coordinated attacks overwhelmed the Prussians, who were caught off guard by Napoleon's rapid and aggressive manoeuvres. This battle was a critical blow to Prussian military strength and solidified Napoleon's dominance in Europe.
