16th The Queen's Lancers raised in 1759 as the 16th Light Dragoons or Burgoyne's Light Horse becoming the Queen's Lancers in 1861 amalgamating with the 5th Royal Irish Lancers in 1922 and becoming the Queen's Royal Lancers in 1954.
